Jim Holm is a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Reg. No. 68020) and owner/founder of Plant Novelty Rights, LLC.  Jim specializes in working with plant breeders to maximize protection of intellectual property rights, both domestically and internationally.  Jim has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting all forms of Plant Intellectual Property.

Jim began working in plant industry at the age of 15 in the heart of Florida’s citrus, vegetable and ornamental plant production region.  Jim obtained a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida and a M.S. degree in Horticulture from the University of Florida.  Jim has worked extensively in plant research and development throughout his career.
